Inside Sales Rep

Job description

The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for managing a select group of house accounts, generating qualified leads through phone-based prospecting, providing inside sales support for the customer and prospect base.  This roll will reach business targets through excellent telephone and communications skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

This roll will be expected to meet established sales-based benchmarks and quotas.


  1. Prospect for new business through cold calling as well as by calling existing house accounts.

  2. Perform initial prospect qualification of leads generated to determine overall viability and potential for business capture.

  3. Close sales through daily outbound calls.

  4. Master the use of the sales database to manage all prospect and customer interaction activity and historical data.

  5. Manage a select group of House Accounts by building and nurturing relationships with decision-makers, understanding their business and needs and growing sales within these existing accounts.

  6.  Develop extensive knowledge of Pima product line.

  7. Perform product demonstrations for prospective and existing customers.

  8. Provide follow up communications via marketing material.

  9. Create, maintain and submit accurate, weekly sales forecasts.

Desired Skills and Experience

  1. 2 years of previous Inside Sales or telemarketing experience in T-shirt or apparel industry.

  2. Excellent verbal communication and telephone skills.

  3. Motivated to sell.

  4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, & Excel.

  5. Ability to use the phone and view a computer monitor for long periods of time on a daily basis.

  6. Practiced phone skills; enthusiastic and professional communication.

  7. Previous sales experience and/or formal sales training a plus.
